The Family Man 2 Actor Manoj Bajpayee Reveals Who Is Chellam Sir For Him In Real Life - EXCLUSIVE
In an exclusive interview Actor Manoj Bajpayee opens up about his go-to person and also who according to him is best suited to be Chellam sir.
The Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni web series The Family Man 2 continues to grab attention and praises for their out-of-the-box storytelling. However, there’s one character that has become everyone’s favorite is Chellam Sir, essayed by Tamil actor Uday Mahesh. For those who haven't watched the series yet, Chellam Sir is a retired member of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), who helps Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) and his Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC) team in their investigation. He is Srikant's go-to person.
Like his character, Srikant ask, Manoj who does he look up to in real life and the actor responds, "So in my life there too many, for all the films and anything you know there are directors who I love and admire like, Neeraj Pandey or Abhishek Chaubey or Raj & DK or Anurag Kashyap all of these people I always call them. " He further adds, "But one of the three directors Suparn Verma of The Family Man he can be a Chellam Sir. He is somebody who has answers for everything, so I call him any time."
In his 27 years of acting career the 52 year- the old actor has worked with many prominent directors. From working with Ram Gopal Varma's 1998 crime drama Satya to collaborating with Neeraj Pandey, Abhishek Chaubey for Special 26, and Sonchiriya respectively, Manoj shares a great bond with these directors, who gave him some of the best roles of his career. And this comes as no surprise when the actor chooses them as his go-to person.
